Driver Diary: Porsche Camp

Last week I joined the other Porsche Michelin Junior Program drivers in Queensland for a 3 day camp and it was a demanding few days, in the best possible way.

The program covered everything you'd expect from a professional driver development setup. Day one kicked off with body scans, mobility testing and cognitive testing, a reminder that driving at this level is as much about mental performance as physical.

Day two was the toughest. An early morning run, followed by an afternoon covering nutrition, recovery and race day conditioning.

Day three brought everything together on track at the Porsche Driving Experience Mt Cotton facility with the latest road cars - great fun and a reminder of how good these cars are to handle on the road.

Beyond the programme itself, it was great to spend time with the other drivers away from the track and get to know each other a little better. I came away feeling motivated and genuinely grateful. It's a huge privilege to be part of the Porsche Michelin Junior Program.
