Ruairi Avern is one of Australia’s brightest young racing talents. At just 19 years old, the Perth-based driver has already made a name for himself on the national motorsport scene, known for his precision behind the wheel and calmness under pressure. His journey into competitive racing began at the age of 15, and in just a few years, he has built a resume that many older drivers would envy. Despite the demanding nature of motorsport, Ruairi continues to balance his racing career with university studies, showing the same discipline off the track that he demonstrates on it.

In the world of karting, Ruairi proved himself a force to be reckoned with. He claimed victory in the 2024 Karting WA Championship, securing the State Series and State Title in just his second full season. This achievement established his reputation as a rising star and reaffirmed his potential for success at higher levels of the sport.

Most recently, Ruairi was selected to join the prestigious Driver Development Program with Arise Racing. Arise is one of Australia’s premier racing teams and the reigning Team Trophy winner in the Radical Cup Australia, a fiercely competitive series featuring many of the nation’s top young talents. Ruairi achieved two overall podiums in four race weekends in 2025 and has earned recognition as the top scoring rookie in the series, despite missing out on one round.

His results on track in 2025 speak for themselves and he is building momentum with every race.
